Promising Practices in Adult Mental Health Services

The recent President's Commission Report (2003) listed as "emerging best practices" the following interventions:

• Consumer-operated services - The Boston University Research Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation has information on research and development of consumer-operated services programs.
• Jail diversion and community re-entry programs.
