Interactive U.S. Map

Individual states are actively promoting the development of new EBPs, while playing a major role in delivering established EBPs. This interactive state map reflects data contained in the 2003 State Profiles, updated with data from the 2004 State EBP Survey. Click on a given state to see a brief status report on that state's implementation of established EBPs, as well as other EBP-related activities.

The State Profile Highlights Report of November 2006 addresses the state mental health authorityimplementation of the six President's New Freedom Commission Goals, including a section on the implementation of evidence-based services by State Mental Health Agencies (SMHAs). Two key findings: Every reporting SMHA is implementing at least one EBP, and most states are implementing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Supported Employment, and Integrated Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
